In the tumultuous backdrop of 1950s Soviet-occupied Tbilisi, Georgia, the Chekists, descendants of the infamous Soviet secret police, cast a foreboding shadow over an innocent family.

Faced with the grim prospect of exile to Siberia and an uncertain fate, the family valiantly resists, standing up against the shadowy forces .
